A Traveling Tribe took root in the United States (after having met in Australia) and has called the US home for almost 16 years. It is in the US that this tribe wanders, explores, and chases sunsets the most.
Michigan is our beloved. The Mitten State – home to the Great Lakes, countless inland lakes and rivers including our favorite – Higgins Lake, Mackinaw Island, Grand Rapids – ArtPrize, Traverse City – Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Motor City – Motown, Detroit Tigers and Red Wings, the Upper Peninsula (not many states get to claim a northern sister) and so much more! Michigan is our nature haven – endless white sandy beaches, miles of hiking and cross-country skiing trails, vast possibilities to go boating or kayaking or canoeing. If you have an ounce of appreciation for nature, Michigan will quickly become a favored state.
