Burleigh Head National Park (Burleigh Heads) and Tallebudgera Creek should definitely be on your “must visit” list when on the Gold Coast in Australia. The untouched beauty of the park’s walking trails and the absolutely breathtaking views of the creek make every visit magical. It is best to visit during the week at low tide if you want to enjoy swimming and strolling along the creek without crazy crowds. On busy days (typically weekends or during the summer holiday) sunbathing, paddle boarding, swimming, kayaking, and fishing are activities that abound along the creek’s shores. Across the creek, you will find Palm Beach. You can enjoy camping and a short walk to Tallebudgera Beach (on the Pacific) if the waters of the creek do not provide enough waves for your liking. This is a spot our tribe has deemed a ‘favorite’ just after two separate visits!
This particular video highlights photos both of my girls took on our visits – it is so fun to see what captures their eye and interest while we explore!
Gorgeous! What a beautiful place to explore 🙂
Your kids would LOVE it there! I can just picture N running around and F splashing in the waves!
